These terms cover every game and app published by Arkenna Ltd ("Arkenna", "we", "us"), which we call our "games" below. By downloading, installing or playing one, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use our games.
Using our games
Our games are for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't:
- Copy, sell or redistribute a game, or pass off its art, music or levels as your own
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify a game, except where the law allows it
- Try to get round any security feature or access restriction
- Use a game for anything unlawful
Writing about our games, streaming them and making videos of them is welcome, including monetised videos. For screenshots and art, write to press@arkenna.co.uk.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what our games collect and why. In short: no accounts, no advertising IDs, and only anonymous play data.
Purchases
If a game is paid for, or offers something to buy inside it, the purchase is made through the store you got the game from, such as Google Play, the App Store or Steam, and is covered by that store's own terms. Purchases can't be moved between stores or platforms.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from:
- Google Play: see Google Play's refund policy.
- App Store: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Steam: see Steam's refund policy.
This doesn't affect your rights under UK consumer law. If something you bought doesn't work, write to us as well and we'll help.
Advertising
Our games don't currently show ads. If a game ever does, the ads will come from a third-party network covered by its own terms, and we'll say so on the game's page and in our Privacy Policy first.
Updates and availability
We update our games to fix problems and add things, and some features (such as daily puzzles) rely on the game being kept up to date. We may change or retire a feature, and we may one day stop offering a game for download, but we'll try to keep what you've already got working.
Ownership
Our games, including their code, art, music, levels and names, belong to Arkenna or the people we license them from, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Buying or downloading a game gives you a licence to play it, not ownership of it.
No warranty
We work hard to make our games reliable, but they are provided "as is". We can't promise that a game will always run without interruption or errors on every device.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using our games, such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
